Mobile Pottery Studio Serving York Region and Simcoe County for over 25 years bringing the pottery experience to your classroom!  With the ability to curriculum base my programs, I offer a valuable addition to any classroom.  Children learn through creating!  Projects will be created using kiln fired clay that will also be dipped in clear food safe glaze, and re-fired rendering them watertight and fully usable.  Projects are then delivered back to you for distribution to the participants.

A “Hands On” pottery program where children will create a beautiful “One of a Kind” creation they can be proud of!

Items will be decorated with texture; colours added, and then kiln fired, dipped in clear glaze and fired a second time rendering them watertight and food safe.

Location: In-School

"I "discovered" Cathy at the Newmarket Library. Though our youngest was not yet 3 years old, I signed him up for a parent-assisted pottery class where he truly enjoyed making 3-D objects. It takes special skills to have small children understand that their work will be returned to them the following week!

When I coordinated extra-curricular activities at École élémentaire catholique Saint-Jean (Aurora), Cathy was the first Educator which I contacted. She was comfortable working with children from grade 1 through grade 6 (like in a school house of olden days) in our after-school programme. She was at ease with explaining the projects to children of different ages and she knew how to draw the best out of them. Small children are bold when it comes to art and it is the oldest ones who surprisingly need encouragement!

Her workshops were so popular that we had to divide groups by grades as she was invited to come to our school 3 times a week.

My husband was so impressed with some of the objects that our children had made over the years, that she was asked to be the special activity at one of our birthday parties.

I've always been impressed with Cathy's devotion to her craft and her teaching skills. She's an Art Educator who gets children to discover their hidden talents.

When you are not in her studio she brings the materials to you, whisks your creations away and delivers them back to you."
