Reebok CrossFit FirePower (RCFP) in conjunction with FirePower Kid’s (FPK) mission is to Build a Community of Fitness through fun and unique programming such as CrossFit, Boxing, Cirque, Team Training, Facility Rentals, Small Group Training, and Fundraising Programs. At RCFP We teach coordination, agility, accuracy and proper movement patterns long before we introduce intensity and heavier weight. Younger kids do not need to lift heavy load to get stronger, rather learning how to recruit the right muscles, will make them stronger. You don’t have to be a good athlete to be a good Crossfitter. This program can help any child become more confident and secure in their own abilities. Programs Include: CrossFit (Kids ages 6-9, Pre-Teen ages 10-13, Jr. Varsity ages 11-13 and Varsity ages 14-17)
- Our program has one major goal in mind- PERFORMANCE. This program will teach your teen and pre-teen how to be explosive and powerful in whatever athletic endeavor they choose to participate in. On top of that, because the workouts are constantly varied, they are less likely to fall prey to the overuse injuries that plague common training routines and year-round sports.
- Jr. Varsity requires an admission based on a coaches evaluation.
- Varsity is ages 14-17 or a Grade 9+
Boxing (Youth Boxing ages 8-13, Boxing ages 14+)
The Youth Boxing Program ages 8-13: is an introduction to Olympic- style boxing. Heavy bag work and instructor lead hand pads and conditioning games. No sparring or contact will be allowed
Boxing Program ages 14+: is an introduction to Olympic- style boxing where you will train like a boxer in every fashion but sparring. Learn punching and footwork techniques and conditioning exercises fighters use for intense fitness and interval training. These workouts maximize calorie burn increase lean muscle mass. Consider it a total body fitness by strengthing and toning upper body, lower body and midline.
Cirque Training Kids Ages 6-9 and Pre-Teen 10-13
Cirque Classes introduce children to diverse skills such as aerial, wire walking, acrobatics, juggling and object manipulation! Pre-Teen builds on the skills in Kids or in other disciplines such as dance, gymnastics. Cirque training builds confidence coordination through game play, skill sessions, workputs and cool downs. This class is CrossFit Kids inspired.
