“The TSO trip was amazing.  Full of spectacular music [from] all around the world.  You guys did an amazing job – everyone liked it, no, even like loved it!”

- Grade 5 Student

“For many students this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!  Students need to know of the opportunities available if they wish to pursue them!  Your support opens the doors to many young people.”

- Teacher

“The first time I got to see the Toronto symphony orchestra was back when I was in grade 4. It was for a music field trip, so my class and I got to see what classical music was all about. When we had gotten to Roy Thomson Hall and to our seats, I was blown away at how amazing and beautiful the music was. It was what really got me to start playing trumpet in grade 5 and my interest has only intensified since then.”

- Grade 9 Student

“The TSO is an integral part of the Arts community of learning in the GTA.  I am so very pleased at how many of our schools … are attending this season.  I know [our teachers] loved the teacher resource, and the three-part lesson format is the way we are going in Ontario.”

- GTA Board Coordinator

“Thank you for opening the minds, ears, and hearts of students with this incredible opportunity – one they would otherwise never experience.”

- Principal

“[My students] loved playing their recorders with the orchestra and hearing the drumming.  For most, it was their first time at the symphony and they truly enjoyed it.  This is such an educational and rewarding event.  It is so well organized and run.  I loved taking my students to the TSO.  Thank you for the opportunity!”
