Paul Whitney and Liz Connell, having lived in southern Africa for 8 years, founded Ottawa-based the African Bronze Project after Zambian-Canadian and a longtime friend asked for their help in marketing their traditional African bark hive and delicious wild bee honey. African Bronze is a Fair Trade, certified B (Benefit) Corp that markets and sells traditional, organic forest honey and other products on behalf of 6000 independent beekeepers and their families in northwest Zambia. We sell delicious, organic and fair frade Gift Packs to schools and organizations for fundraising. We will also talk to any group about sustainability, empowerment, traditional music, trade vs aid, development, poverty alleviation, education, microfinance, climate change, and environment... plus we know a broad range of other subtopics pertaining to sub-Saharan Africa.
