Science Timmins exists so youth of all ages can PLAY, DISCOVER, LEARN FOR THE LOVE OF SCIENCE as applied in the real world.
Do you want to know the new programs that Science Timmins is offering in 2014 – 2015?1. Youth SSS (Super Science Show). Science fair style of event for youth from K to 6.
2. Stratos Science: Designing an experiment to be placed on one of Stratos Balloons that will be launched from Timmins in the summer of 2015.
3. Science Timmins Educators Network (STEN): A program that will give the opportunity for educators to communicate and share ideas in a common forum.
4. Ontario Technology Learning Project for Educators: Pilot project for educators to use technology in teaching and learning.
5. New Science Timmins Website. Friendly and easy to navigate (slightly under populated. More contents will be uploaded in the next two weeks).

Our Support Programs are designed to facilitate the exploration of science. Educators, parents and other adults who run science programs can receive support from Science Timmins through various services: forums, online discussions, guest speakers, workshops and our communication network.
